Tip #1: In case you currently use Q-Tips, then See this page,
Visit Homepage, to it that you hold the Q-Tip one inch away from the cotton tip that you're inserting into the ear of yours. This will assure that you never make
accidental communication with your ear drum, that can cause damage. The wax glands which make the earwax are near the
outer edge of the canal, so this depth should be sufficient and safe. Use a rotating motion, swabbing all sides of the canal. Don't have a plungering motion, which ultimately drives as well as compacts the wax more deeply into your canal. (FYI: the cleanest ears we come across use Q-Tips daily, but only when done safely & properly.)

Tip #2: If you own a hand held showerhead with a rotating squirt pattern dial, set the switch to most direct/condensed spray pattern. While taking a warm shower, remove the handheld part of the showerhead of yours and irrigate each ear for 1-2 minutes, 1 2 times every week. The warm water is going to liquefy the wax and expel every other unwanted debris from your ears. Handheld shower heads are available at most retail or home improvement stores.

Tip #3: Use hydrogen peroxide or pure virgin organic olive oil to first loosen large amounts of older wax from your canal. Allow the liquid to stand in your ear for 5-10 minutes with your head tipped on the side area, and then get rid of with warm water from a bulb syringe or using the process shown in Tip #2 above.
