It's that time of year that high school and college students look forward to other year...Spring Break. Spring Break means entertaining in the sun's rays with all your friends. But, its all fun and games until something bad happens. Read this article to ensure you've the enjoyment you should have with out the concerns of something terrible happening.
I'd love to encourage making healthy and safe options during your spring break. The vast majority of pupils go away to spring break; they'll have a great time and go back home safely, but each year quite a few students will fall victim to alcohol poisoning, date rate, assault, robbery, and even murder. Studies propose that nearly all cases involve drug or alcohol abuse. The sad part is that the
majority of of those cases might have been prevented by sticking to a couple of basic typical rules to guarantee safety.
Survival Tip #1 Buddy System
The buddy system includes power of numbers.
Check it out's a great system when you're in a new city the county of ours. You do not know the area and if it is safe or not. Spring breakers are generally targets for regional troublemakers to make use of, particularly since most college students feel invincible(especially after drinking). Make sure you stay with a buddy or a team at all times and most important, no one is to go anywhere independently.
Survival Tip #2
Monitor the Drinking of yours
Its Spring Break and simply natural to expect to drink and party like its going out of style. With which said, don't binge drink it's not cool and can kill you. Alcohol poisoning is real and can make you extremely sick. The last thing you wish to do after spending all your money on Spring Break is to end up in the hospital and overlook all the fun. Once again, the buddy system comes into play. You and the friends of yours know one another and what you can handle. Keep a watch out for one another and if you notice somebody that has passed their limit get them to the hotel safely.
Survival Tip #3 Date rape - Watch the Drinks of yours
Unfortunately women have to get far more away of there surroundings when partying for Spring Break. It's regrettable, but there are men just awaiting you to leave your drink unattended to slip a date rape drug in it. Date rape drugs are usually odorless, colorless and tasteless. They can get fallen into drinks quickly & go unnoticed. This being said, at people and clubs, never leave the drink of yours unattended, moreover never take drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) from strangers.
