Alec Baldwin has been pictured leaving his New York City apartment after he announced filming for Rust will continue following a deal between him and slain cinematographer Halyna Hutchins' husband.
The actor was spotted getting into a car with his kids as wife Hilaria watched on following the bombshell update on Wednesday morning.
Earlier he revealed the movie will continue to be made from January following the confidential civil settlement between him and Matthew Hutchins.
He said on his Instagram page the move was part of a 'specific desire to do what is best for Halyna's son' after she was shot dead during filming in New Mexico last year.
Despite the announcement, the local DA's office warned the deal will not impact its criminal investigation into the death and added: 'No one is above the law'.
Halyna was shot on the set of the film in October 2021 in Bonanza Creek Ranch, Santa Fe.
Her family filed a wrongful death lawsuit in February, which has now been dropped.
Baldwin has said he did not pull the trigger and claims the blame lies with the stunt handlers and prop managers who should have ensured the gun did not have live bullets.
Santa Fe Sheriff's Office has not charged anyone.
