Cultural Appropriation and Donkeys

The African wild ass is believed to be the source of the domestic donkey which was originally from Africa. Arse vs. Ass
"Arse" is a British slang term for a "stupid person", but it could also be used as a synonym for "ass". This is the source of confusion because both are based upon a group of horselike creatures. In the USA,
Asian-Woman the correct term for a donkey is 'Ass'.
The word arse originated as an inoffensive term for the body part however, it has since become a vulgar word. "Ass" was a variant of the arse term in the 19th century. It originally meant the horse-like animal group, but in the 1860s it was transformed into a slang word for an a posterior. It is also used in the expression "to arse around'. "Ass" can also be used in the phrase "to make an a** out of oneself as a connection with 'to arse about'. There are many meanings for arse, but none are found in 'ass.
Appropriateness in popular Culture
We often witness instances in which a dominant culture adopts elements from a minority's culture. This practice, also known as cultural appropriation, may lead to disrespect from members of minority groups. It doesn't matter if you wear the traditional Native American headdress at a music festival or wearing blackface for Halloween, a lot of Black people feel that it is an act of patronizing.
In addition to adopting elements of cultures that are not native to the minority the dominant group may also make use of intellectual property belonging to the minority group. This can be done by blackfishing for instance. It is important to consider that people of colored skin have a history of being excluded and marginalized. Take, for
Asian-Woman instance, the history of the marginalization of black people when you see someone wearing an outfit that resembles blackface.
