The 650S features a claimed top speed of 333 km/h (207 mph) and can accelerate from 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) in 3.0 seconds and from 0–200 km/h (0–124 mph) in 8.4 seconds. The tablet-style touchscreen on the guts console is a bit small and lacks some modern touches such as for instance in-car apps. Interior surfaces are mostly lined with simulated suede or leather, but somehow the McLaren 650S still feels somewhat basic. Combine this with the weak standard four-speaker audio system and the 650S is perhaps better suited for weekend jaunts than grand touring.
