Supporters have reacted furiously to the latest blow in Tottenham's search for a new manager
Nuno Espirito Santo was eventually appointed as manager after a chaotic 72-search after talks with several targets collapsed.
'Oh FFS.
This is just embarrassing now,' one fan fumed. 'Somewhere Nuno's dusting off his training kit.'
'Arne Slot, Julian Naglesmann, pastislot qq Mauricio Pochettino, Roberto De Zerbi, Ruben Amorim, Vincent Kompany. Does anyone want to manage Spurs and work with Levy?
I certainly wouldn't,' another wrote.
Spurs fans have also expressed fears that the latest setback could lead to the club turning to Brendan Rodgers.
The 50-year-old is currently out of work after being sacked by Leicester in April.
'The season ticket deadline is rapidly approaching and I swear to god if I splash nearly a grand to watch Brendan Rodgers manage Tottenham I will fully lose my head,' a fan wrote on social media.
'Following the Slot news, what else to we do but laugh?
Levy and co have dragged the club through the mud so many times that no self respecting coach will touch us' another said.
'They may as well just get on with appointing Rodgers so we can be laughed at again.
