Yo-Jin-Bo
It doesn't matter if you're an anime fan or not Yo-Jin-Bo is among the few official visual novels to hit the Windows store. It's not hard to see why. The fantasy setting is a nod towards feudal Japan, and the characters are cute and cuddly, despite being they're a bit insecure. Also, there's a some geekiness.
Insofar as Yo Jin-Bo's character is concerned, there's a trio of main characters to keep you interested including the well-known Yo and the adorable and adorable Jin and the psychopath who is petty Ittosai. The story is set in feudal Japan and the princess and her guardians are in the midst of a fugitive hunt. The storyline also ties into the romantic lives of the main characters. The characters aren't isolated from one another, which is a great thing. In fact it's only when they are separated from one another that the plot is put on the back burner.

Once There was a Time
"Once Upon a time" transformed fairy tales into new and exciting versions. It introduced new characters and plots. The show's final seasons introduced blander characters and plot lines.
