Gameplay
Signalis is a simple game that is a tribute to the first classical survival video games like silent hill and resident evil. It's a top down view, pixel art, survival shooter with small melee skills and a limited inventory of six items that can be used to explore across the globe.
It's a science fiction only single player narrative experience that brings the tension home with the constant evil of melee weapons that force the combat fight to be played out at a weapons length like pistols and shotguns.
The game world is comprised of interconnected rooms where you search for keys or other items that aid in the puzzles by joining items into safe spaces that let you have the tools you require in order to survive.
There will be enemies to fight who are pushed when you aren't armed with the pistols, or shotguns found all over the world of games while trying to understand the reason and purpose behind doing what you are doing in this mysterious planet.
The game is initially straightforward and easy, however, you'll find that the difficulty increases dramatically in the course of the game, epically, towards the end, with enemies that will return to life and appear out of vents and floors, plus simple, straightforward, and enjoyable boss fights that are claustrophobic and squeezing.

The enemy variety is a bit limited for my liking However, it was developed by two individuals, so I can accept that since what's available is for the most part straightforward, classic, and effective use of survival horror enemy game design.

The story is set in a futuristic future that is told in a manner that forces you to think and ponder the ending and the meaning behind the story rather than simply completing the game and get informed about the meaning of the story. The game is designed to make you think about the story.

Personally, I found the narrative mechanics of the female workers as well as the representation of female and male workers by machines within a supposedly communist-style work environment fascinating.
I'm not going to go into the details in order to keep from spoilers I'll just note that this isn't an easy story to digest, and you are left to determine the story, based on my personal opinion the meaning of the story because it's not based on logic and reality in the sense that it is.
Graphics/Performance
In terms of graphics and performance, Signalis the game, I will not be doing a deep analysis because it performs good and it looks good for its unique art style. It is incredibly fast and smooth on every device you are able to play on. I truly hope it is brought to mobile like iPhone and Android soon.
I do recommend playing this on an OLED Tv or Monitor for it's stunning.

For being done mostly by two people, I believe it's sound production is quite simple, yet really effective at delivering claustrophobic adrenaline rush moments and a calmness that makes the entire experience an adrenaline-pumping rollercoaster of fear and terror.

On the achievements side, the game is actually easy to get all the achievements and according to trueachievements.com, you can get them all with an 8 to 10 hours. It is possible to finish the game faster if you would like to speed it up.
On the side of fan service to things , the anime Japanese depicted characters are cute gorgeous eyes, beautiful eyes, and the feminine image is depicted through the art style itself and is aesthetically pleasing and satisfying. Thus, I give this a thumbs up. of culture and if you think it's not enough, I'm going to recommend that you go touch some grass right now. Then, stop the video and go.

To end, I'll declare that this is one of the survival horror games that will be remembered in the history books as a basic but really top-quality Indie developer. A success story game in which I would recommend to anyone who loves survival horror should enjoy. Particularly, classic style residents, evil and Silent Hill titles needs to give it a chance and experience.
I don't replay most of my single-player games fully thru therefore I'm not working towards the extra endings, but I can say I'm glad and proud of having had the chance to play this extraordinary journey by the publisher of the rose engine.
